Please tell me about the training when you first joined?

This question made me smile because I consider myself very "lucky" with my training. Being a pioneer member of the Philippine team, I stayed in Australia for about 3 months for my onboarding. In hindsight, it was probably more of an immersion than a training. Experiencing the culture, interactions and ways of working from the people around me taught me a lot more than any reading material could. The training itself is well organised and customizable. Each person learns differently and I worked closely with my people leader to make sure my onboarding plan covered topics of relevance and interest. And to be honest, the training never ends. Each day is a new opportunity to learn.
